I had stir fry with steak. Lots of veggies and 4oz of steak for protein.

Well, it’s 2:30 and I’m already 500+ calories over my goal for today, so I’ll say... medium avocado and three tablespoons of Nutella.

I went 2000+ over my goal calories yesterday. Today, I had a biggish breakfast, a small lunch, and a couple of snacks. I haven't had a dinner and I'm not even sure I care.

Years ago I started a thing with my kids that when my husband is out of town we go to their favorite Chinese Buffet as a treat. That’s what we did. I tried my best but feel the salt swelling my fingers as we speak. I did get a nice long walk in both days this weekend so hopefully I didn’t do to bad. And I kept my calories down the rest of the day so fingers crossed.

Tried a new pizza place tonight, and it might be my new favorite local (well, local-ish) pizzeria. Had the veggie lovers pie (with spinach, peppers, broccoli, onions, and, (only in my husband’s side) mushrooms (they’re a fungus, not a vegetable!) it was delicious. Crisp, thin crust. Homemade sauce. Fresh mozzarella. I ate two slices and it took some restraint not to go for a third. The kids liked their plain cheese pizza too.
