Turbo Jam

Ok, so I was at a restaurant, of all places, when I saw an add for Turbo Jam. Now usually I'm not one to buy things off of TV...ESPECIALLY weight loss stuff. But this actually looks like I might like it. I used to do TaeBo religously..but then it just started getting old (same tape for 10 years...you know how it is). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there has turbo jam?? Do you like it, and is it effective? Also, if anyone has used both and can compare the two, that would be helpful. They actually have a good deal going on.....LOTS of stuff for 80 bucks. But I just wanted to get some feedback before I spend that kind of money... Any thing helps.
Thanks guys! :flowerforyou:

There are quiet a few posts about Turbo Jam on here already.
I have most of the collection and enjoy it.
Like any workout routine...it only works if you do it consistently.
If I was more consistent I am sure my weight would be way less. :laugh:0 -
Here's our group on here if you're interested!

I did Tae Bo before this (understand it getting old) and I LOVE this workout! I know some of us do both, too! I've lost over 40# since August using the workouts!0 -
turbo jam rocks...tae bo - not so much...
i've found that the tae bo is very boot camp, and everytime i've done a tae bo workout i get a headache and breathless because i feel like the top half of my body is going horizontal then vertically so quickly, and then i give up.
if you want to have some fun and sweat more while not giving yourself a headache, then do turbo...
check out ebay, you might find a better price there if you just want to try it out!0 -
I also love doing it w/ weighted gloves. I looked all over the internet, ebay, and even the beachbody website, but they were all over $20. I found some Everlast weighted gloves that are 1lb each glove on Walmart.com and had them shipped to the Walmart right by my house (no shipping cost) and they were only $11! I swear it makes a HUGE difference, I've already lost 1/4 in in my arms in just like two weeks!0

I love Turbo Jam! And the weighted gloves are awesome! Totally worth the money, the Maximum Results package is great! (let me know if you have any questions!)

Turbo Jam is great It's fun, Chalene is very motivating and there are so many different rotations you can make if you have all or most of the DVDs. It never gets boring! You can always mix it up with other workouts, to keep it fresh.
Anyway, it's a good choice for beginning home workouts for sure0 -

That is great! Good for you! The weighted gloves really do make a big difference. I have the BB gloves and then I use my dd's 1# pink dumbbells to really punch! :bigsmile:0
