Tracking steps

Hi everyone, I use my iPhone to track my steps into mfp but should I also be adding how long I walked (and how many calories were burnt doing walking) as extra(?) or should I just count the step calories. Hope this makes sense

if you are synced with mfp, don't. if you aren't, you can.

I count how long and my calories if it is in a continuous motion - like a 45 min walk. However, if you are walking throughout the day then MFP will calculate your calories based on steps ( if you are synced)

When an activity tracker is synced to MFP - it is comparing your stated activity level against your actual activity. That syncing should give you credit for steps ABOVE your activity level.....not all steps. Adding credit for 100% of steps would include a fair amount of duplication.
