I made the BEST snack that I actually turned into a dinner, I got egg roll wrappers and cut them into triangles to make 8 chips, threw them on a non stick cookie sheet...it was 3 wrappers for 170 cal. so I had 24 chips...didn't use anything, just put them on the sheet dry, but next time I will spray with some non fat spray, just add flavor
3 sheets cut into 8 triangles, 24 pcs.
baked at 400 for 4min. WATCH them, til they get crisp
sprinkled with salt and cumin
then I added salsa, jalapenos, fat free sour cream and a bit of ff sharp cheddar.....
UNREAL...barely no calories, and the chips were thin and crispy, the toppings were low cal, you could work with this to add turkey with taco seasoning, and lettuce and tomato to make a low cal meal.
I was using tortillas and doing this and saw on FitTV to use the egg roll wrappers, you get so much more chips and they are crispier.
This isn't really a recipe just an idea to make it your own....seriously you gotta try!!!

I do this with won ton wrappers, there is no stopping the recipe ideas once you get started with them! I just discovered them this year and I've already made over half a dozen different 'mini' recipes for very minimal calories:
perogee rolls, chicken spring rolls, mini beef taquito's, apple pie rolls & turnovers. cinnamon sugar chips & regular chips... the possiblities are endless!0 -
Sounds yummy!0
