I am also an apple. I have no idea what losing weight it going to do to my appearance! I have the shoulders of a line backer and I am fighting the mental fear that I might look less attractive at a lower weight. Thanks for posting this question.0

yes definitely an apple. Since starting to lose some weight I know that my waist has got a bit smaller - I'm hoping that as long as I stay within a healthy weight range I will look less apple. I've cut out beer and have noticed the loss round my stomach - i know men traditionally get beer bellies but I'm sure it can happen to women too. Also try and do some upper body exercises like push ups etc..I think it's just a question of dressing to suit your body and balance out your shoulders by wearing a-line skirts or bootcut jeans etc see attached for example.

There is a trainer names David Kirsch and he has a book that focuses on training for each body type. I would suggest look that up and train for your body type. I have a more of a pear shape body and when I did those workouts for months, my legs were the leanest they had been! PLUS diet is so important. Eating right is the King, and exercising is the Queen:)
