Keeping a food journal really does work! First of all, it makes you accountable and you tend to think before you put something in your mouth if you have to write it down. Secondly, it forces you to read all of the nutrition labels and you learn which foods are really bad. You can also create successful menus that you can use in the future if you find that you have reached a plateau. It also keeps your mind "in the zone". Add this great group of people to the formula and you will do a great job. You will get to the point where you can't wait to log in. I'm new to this site, but have been using an online food diary for a year now and when I slacked off, I gained four pounds. I immediately realized how much I was sneaking when I didn't have to write it down.

Good luck!! Stay positive and use all of the resources available here!

This site is great. I started it because I had always wanted to lose a little weight but I never expected it to work as well as it did! Just make sure you give yourself time and stay with it, even when you feel like giving up. It works!

Oh and one other tid bit of advice. Best weapon for weight loss for me has been organisation and being prepared. I plan out my days in advance.

    Good luck!
  • good luck, this is a fantastic site and has been my life line over the last week.
