Anyone have any ideas on how to use PBfit?
An employee of my husband who knows we are both losing weight and just trying to get healthier in general gave us 2 really huge tubs of PBFit. My husband I have one weakness and that is peanut butter. However, PBfit is a peanut butter powder with less fat and less calories. I tried to make actual peanut butter out of it and have been either using too much or too less water because it never ends up like peanut butter. I have been putting a tsp in my protein shakes once a day since then. Does anyone have any more ideas or recipes on how to use it. Also if you like peanut butter but hate the calories and natural fat then this may be something to look into. However, as with anything it should be used in moderation

Skinny fit has a great recipe for a peanut sauce dressing for chicken and cucumber salad. We also do smoothies and I add water and make a dip for apples with my kids.3

Great stirred into cooked oatmeal.
Stir into vanilla Greek yogurt, I like to add Grapenuts cereal for crunch.
Add to pancake mix; maple & PB are great together.
Smoothies.

I use it in shakes, sautees, salad dressing, marinades, I use it in cooking cookies too.2

It will not be peanut butter because PB fit has no oil or fat. You add water to powder to resemble peanut butter. It's just a substitute so don't expect it to be.1

I use it every day in a shake for lunch, but also as a snack - paired with an apple or banana. I also do the oatmeal stir-in as someone mentioned above!0

I use it with a protein brownie mix (its vegan, dairy and gluten free). I just add water and eat it alongside a protein brownie and its delicious and I consider it to be my guilty pleasure when I want something sweet.
The brownie mix:
Brand: "About Time"
Instructions: 1/4 cup of mix, plus 2 tbs water, mix and finish up with 1 minute in the microwave
cals:125, 6g protein, 5g fiber
PBfit:
a scoop and some water1 -

Peanut butter on burgers is popular where I’m from. Dunno if it’s a regional thing? I bet you could mix this in the patty in lieu of actual peanut butter. It sounds like a weird combination, but it’s delicious. I couldn’t find a recipe using pb2, but I’m sure with experimenting, it could work.1 -
I mix with plain Greek yogurt and dip apples or whole wheat pretzels.1

Goes well with cottage cheese (the runnier texture, full fat, the better)1

I toss it into stir fries occasionally to give a Malaysian/Indonesian twist on things. I second peanut sauces for savoury dishes such as gado, gado, satay, bang bang chicken. sesame noodles. Also google west African peanut soup for another recipe where PB2 would work well in.0
