I just looked at their nutritional info--99% of everything has TONS of sodium and TONS of calories! WTH?! Does anyone have any suggestions? WAAA!

  • Check out the arugula and asparagus salad (it's a small plate). I split that with my mom, then 3 of us split a pizza with the honey wheat crust. Still more sodium than I'd like in a meal, but it's doable that way.

    I ♥ that salad!
  • If it's just one off-day, don't worry about it. You'll make up for it later.

If you really want to eat less, ask them to bring you a box with the meal, and box half of it to take home before you even start eating. Remind yourself you don't have to eat everything on your plate, and then remind yourself again that one day of high sodium and high calories is not going to mess you up if you keep eating right the rest of the time.

Enjoying what you eat without making it the focus of your life is part of what helps maintain a healthy relationship with food.

Forget about the ingredients for one day, and get the Chipotle Chicken pizza on a honey wheat crust....thank me later!

I know, right? So yummy and the perfect appetizer. Plus, it helps me stay focused on portion control when the pizza comes! That way I can have some pizza and have it fit within my daily plan. Personally, I don't believe in "cheats". I think it's the wrong mentality to have.
  • Thanks for all the suggestions. I have decided to strike a happy medium... gonna enjoy some (healthy) za--Roasted Artichoke & Spinach w/Chicken Pizza on Honey Wheat Whole Grain Crust) & a 1/2 Asparagus & Arugula Salad. It is imperitive that I pre-plan for things like this or I get all stressed/flustered at the restaurant. This way I can just relax and enjoy stuffing my face. :) And I don't do cheat days--I have too long a road and for me, staying focused is the only way to go. Not to say I won't have "little cheats"--just not a full out cheat day.

    Have a great weekend everyone!
