Nothing quite like achieving and maintaining weight-loss for more than two years and then slipping backwards who when things get tough...I am so frustrated but trying to get motivated again to lose the pounds I have gained over the last 6 months and get back into a focused headspace. Here goes nothing!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I successfully lost using MFP, however, the pounds have crept back on. My clothes are snug again and I'm determined not to have to replace my clothes with bigger ones after my previous success.

I need to get back into the zone but keep failing

I lost a whole lotta weight in 2012. I kept it off until I hit a health snag and had to basically relearn how to eat. That and being in constant misery prior to learning it was a real health problem made me indulge in all the things I'd taken in moderation before. I didn't gain all the weight back, but I gained nearly a third back. So now I'm trying to lose it again, and also not stop when people tell me that I've lost "enough weight" and that I'm good "where you're at." I bought into them comments before, but not now!

Don't beat yourself up. Life happens. The choices get made, but! While you can't change the days past, you can absolutely change the future and do things differently.

You can do it! Tell yourself, "I'm awesome! I can do this! I'm going to let my AWESOME free!"

I'm right there with you. I had exploratory surgery 3 weeks ago, and in that time I've gained 12 pounds. I feel so ashamed, but at the same time I don't because I was suppose to take it easy. I have to start focusing on my diet. We all do. Don't let stress take over our lives. Take a deep breath before eating anything...think "do I really need to eat this?" If the answer is no then put it back. When we pause before any situation we can get a better handle on the outcome.

That's a successful day 1 over for me, it's good to be back in the zone

I get this. I lost 46 pounds since January and am finding it harder to stay on track. I am trying to stay motivated but it is difficult.
