WORKING OUT EVERYDAY??

I plan on getting a workout in every day, but I don't kick myself if it doesn't happen. This weekend, for example, I probably won't be spending any quality time with Jillian.
I just know that I feel better on days that I work out, and I know I sleep better. Plus, I eat differently when I work out because I eat back my exercise calories. When I don't work out, I have to plan accordingly. I can do it and it's fine, but sometimes it's a little more of a challenge.0 -
I am training for a triathlon and I am aiming for 1 rest day a week, if that. My workouts are not long. I almost always get up and do them in the morning. I have two little kids and work full time. Maybe 1-2 days a week my hubby and I take turns going for a run after we get home from work.
This week:
Sun - run 3 miles, 37 minutes
Mon - rest
Tues - run 2.6 miles, 30 minutes
Weds - got up early and did bike ride, 7 miles of hills, 37 minutes
Thurs - swim, 600 yards, 15 minutes, plus playing in the pool (this was after work before dinner. what a great way to end the day!)
Frid - bike to work and back. total 15 miles, takes 35 minutes to get to work and 50 to get home. same time my normal commute takes me.
I also like to get up early and do a workout video. No matter what, I almost always feel like crap when I fall out of bed, but I feel GREAT after getting a workout in. Then you can go about your day and feel awesome!
If you are interested in running try the Couch to 5K program - very gradual and gets you up to running for 1/2 an hour.0 -
I work out 3-4 times a week.
I actually don't think it's healthy to do a vigorous workout every single day. Your body needs at least one day to recuperate.0 -
I agree with knowing your limit!0

works out every day, several days I do it twice.
Do it. This is your life.
I love this and I agree 100%
You just gotta do what you gotta do...
I workout every day... (a minimum of 80 minutes of cardio) somedays I workout up to 3 times a day burning a max of 2,500 cals... Intense but I push myself because I set high goals and I want the results0
