Sometimes it just gets too hard, recently got to my lowest point since before 2010 and now back up 7 pounds. Just cant keep going consistently, about ready to just throw in the towel. Dont care anymore.

Then what do you care about? And because I'm curious, what have you been doing?

I know that feeling. It's an awful way to feel. I'm so sorry that you're going through this. You can make it past it. What was your original reason for starting this journey? What are your goals? What are the road blocks?
If you want to add me as a friend, please do. I'd be happy to try to help you through this.

And I keep reading this as "Time to quilt". That could actually be a good idea :D

The problem is you will care again and it won't take as long as you think. It could be something very simple to fix like more of an emphasis on protein to make your journey easier. Or maybe you are depriving yourself too much of the food you really want to eat. You should provide details of your diet and the problems you are having.

Time to make changes. What you are doing isn't working for you. You need to find a way of eating that is at a calorie deficit but works for you over the long haul.

My suggestion is that you start from the way you like to eat and make adjustments from there. Eat smaller portions and/or find satisfying substitutions for your foods. Work on satiation by adjusting the amounts of protein, fat, and fiber that you eat. Nutrition is always important whether you are losing weight or not but weight loss comes down to eating fewer calories than your body uses. I aim for 80% of my calories from nutrient-dense foods and 20% from treats so that I get my nutrition and can eat at least a little bit of everything.

Don't feel like you have to have a large calorie deficit. Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. A calorie deficit over time will result in weight loss over time. Craft a comfortable way of eating that gives you creeping weight loss rather than creeping weight gain and you'll come out ahead of the game.

Sounds like burn out. Google burn out recovery and see if you apply it to MFP
