Fear of Stopping

I've reached 160 lbs. Yay me!! But now I'm terrified because this is the place where I always get complacent and stop losing weight. "Oh, I'm not THAT bad. After all, I'm not plus size anymore, I can do more things, this is enough, right? I can eat whatever I want now!" I do want to FINISH THIS this time. I REALLY want to go all the way. But I can feel that discouragement and complacency coming my way...
Who has made it all the way, and did you have moments like these? If so, how did you overcome them? How did you push through the part of your journey that seemed the longest?

I know what you mean, and I been there and I have also relapsed. I think we shouldn't stop growning, setting fitness goals and achieving them. Once you reach your goal weight, set a running a distance goal, or some other fitness goal.0

This is why it is important to make this a lifestyle change. Believe me, I struggle with that too. I lost about 40 lbs. a few years ago by dieting and exercising. But I had the wrong mindset because when I reached my goal, I let the thoughts of 'oh I am thin now I can have this or that or I can skip a workout' creep into my head way too often. Guess what I'm doing now? Trying to lose that same flipping 40 lbs. I strongly agree about always setting new goals to reach.0

I haven't reached any goals yet, but I will say if you feel fab now at 160 think what 150 is going to make you feel like then 140, keep those thoughts in your mind maybe that will help you.... Every road has a bump in it! Take this wonderful feeling you have now and think of it doubling in 10lbs then tripling in 20lbs ect!!! you can do this:)0

I am a person who sets goals and will do what I have to do to meet them. As I was approaching my goal weight I began to get nervous and scared. I asked for advice and decided to set a new goal which was tone. That gives me more to work on, more lbs to lose, and keeps me inline. Soon my new goal will be challenges within myself to maintain my weight. Slowly it has begun to change my mind set that this is how it should always be and anything different should be questioned.
Take your challenge to the next level and go under your comfy number! You made it this far you can go farther and we will help you get there!0
