If every day was like today???

Why does MFP give you that IF EVERY DAY WAS LIKE TODAY thing that says you will be such and such weight in 5 weeks? Its never right for me. I have been keeping track on my food for about 4 months and I have never been the weight they say I should be in 5 weeks. For example they said on 4/5/18 they said IF EVERY DAY WAS LIKE TODAY you would be 200.5 pounds in 5 weeks, well today I was 208.4 pounds.... nowhere near the 200.5 and every day was almost exactly the same amount of calories as 4/5 was. I eat almost the same thing every day so that I have the same calorie count every day. I really wish they would take that thing off as its just depressing knowing that you are not meeting that goal they say you should be.
also based on calories in vs calories out they are close to what I should be I really should be closer to 204 but I just dont burn what most people burn. I put in my weight and height in a calories needed per day calculator and I get that I need 1861 a day to maintain my weight and I only eat about 1060-1100 per day so for 5 weeks I burned about 26000 extra calories not counting any exercise I did so that should be a loss of 7.5 pounds and I only lost 4 in that 5 weeks
I know its a loss but just frustrating.

Don't complete your diary and you won't get that message.
As for your calories, how are you measuring your intake? You're losing just under a pound a week, which is a fine rate, but it sounds like you could be eating a bit more than you think (which is good, because you should be eating 1200 net calories minimum, if not the goal given to you).0 -
I am very very accurate with what I eat, I weight everything that goes in my mouth if its not already measured out. I have a postal scale that weights to the gram so I weigh to the gram. I will take out one corn flake (for example) to get to the amount I need so I know I am not overeating. I tried the 1200-1300 calories and was not losing a thing, my Dr recommended trying 1000 for a couple months but I didnt want to go that low go I try to eat as close to 1100 as I can get. my body will not lose on 1200 or more as I have been doing this calorie counting thing for 8 years and I only lose on less than 1200. I think I may have a thyroid issue based on my latest thyroid test, function is normal but antibody test is really high 730 where normal is less than 9, I will be seeing a specialist about that nest month (earliest she could see me) thanks for asking though but some people just cant lose on 1200 some like me have to eat less or exercise more and since I have no energy to do anything I have to eat less. hopefully after the Dr visit I will have some answers and will be able to do something to fix my issues, fingers crossed.1
