I am getting close to my goal. I placed a bet with a friend that I could get six pack abs by the 4th of July. I started on Nov 1st at 236 30%, today I am 163 10.7%. Abs coming in, just need some more definition so he doesn't have any room to complain.

I am 45 and haven't done much physical (other than my job) in a long time. So it was time.

A Big part of my success was buying a rower for my home. Allowed me to do something everyday in front of the TV when it was raining etc. And it was very easy on my knees which had kept me from running for a long time. Now I am running 5 miles a couple times a week, mountain biking up to 100 mi a week as well as hitting the weights. Feeling Good! But it has taken a huge time commitment and other things have suffered.

Last couple weeks have been a struggle. Low energy, overall soreness. I really need a diet break, but I am going to stick it out until the 4th. Then I will eat at maintenance for a couple weeks. But I do want to hit around 7% so I will conitinue after the bet, if I haven't got there yet. Taking a full 2 days rest from workouts now. Only the second time I have rested two days in a row since I started.
