So im about to start my period but it makes my body feel swollen like i am not doing enough it makes me feel sad and mad bc i feel big but im doing all the right things

I notice that also feel and look bloated during pms week and period week, so basically half a month, every month. Being crampy, having minor back aches, tired, over emotional etc. really doesn't help with body image or motivation.
The best I have found is try to increase my self care (face mask, paint toes, extra stretching) and definitely for me maintain my gym schedule. Skipping the gym might be tempting, but I nearly always feel better afterwards.
Also when I am dieing in barre class or on the spin bike, I don't notice the cramps/aches and exercise helps my body image!0
