My scale is still working and is accurate enough for me. It is digital and has a body fat feature (I don't know how accurate that is)
I have seen scales that link to mfp. I don't know the names.
Does anyone have one and do you like it?
Sometimes, I step on the scale a lot. Would it keep giving different reports to my friends?

Based on multiple weigh ins you're better off with an unconnected scale so that you can select the value you store.
Or you will have to learn to accept a single value.
You may also want to use a weight Trend application. All of them including trendweight have workarounds on how you can use them without a supported scale.2 -
Withings is what I use and I like the ease of use. If one measurement is way off, I can delete it, but usually I leave it and understand weight fluctuates.0
