Hey everyone. I'm Mandy and I'm 39. For the last 9 years I have been chasing Total Fitness. One time in 2012 I actually reached my weight goal of 150 and then I quit on total Transformation and eventually gained all the weight back. I was now 218 lb, depressed, in a terrible marriage, and surrounded by horrible people which only led me to gain more weight. I am an emotional eater, food has always been my friend, food is love. My life made some drastic changes, I divorced the jerk, dropped the horrible friends and family that only added to the negativity and I found myself again. Well, fast forward 6 years and I'm happily married to a wonderful man and started a whole new chapter. Even finding the job of my dreams. So now, I turned 39 in December and truly looked at myself in the mirror and decided I needed to make a change. I went on a diet losing 16 lbs but waa still not happy with what I was seeing in the mirror. So I found bodybuilding.com and started following everyone that was doing their 250k Total Transformation Challenge in 12 weeks. Even though it was too late for me to enter the contest I decided I was going to do the same thing in 12 weeks for myself. I am currently on week 5, exhausted, I have no sex drive, and my poor darling husband is exhausted as well and cannot keep up with the workouts. So, in a nutshell, that's my story. I know I will get there I have already seen quite a few changes in my body and I cannot wait to see where I can go with this. I turn 40 in less than 7 months and I plan on being in a bikini on a beach in Hawaii looking my best ever at 40. Wish me luck. Would love to hear your stories.

Hi Mandy! You can definitely do this! But if you are completely exhausted and have no sex drive, you might be trying to do too much too soon. How big of a deficit do you currently have? How much are you working out? It's really old school, but if you are looking for a 12 week transformation I still love Body For Life. It's great for beginners because it addresses both food and exercise and teaches you how to plan your meals and workouts. You don't count calories with it, but if you can loosely follow the food guide if you like and use MFP to track calories and macros if you prefer as well.0
