Add me! I am down a little over 50lbs but want to lose another 80lbs. Taking it nice and slow because that's the key to lasting change, but would love to have more friends on here!!0

When I joined MFP weighed 284.2 lbs (104.2 lbs) had to lose. Still have over 80 lbs to go.
HSW: 284.2 (on MFP)
UGW: 180?
However, my all time heaviest weight recorded was 400 lbs. Lost to 350 lbs stayed here for years ( fluctuated between 350 & 385)
This weight lose wasn't do to diet, but walking a lot, I traveled everywhere in the USA & a little outside the states. Which I think is what brought my biggest lose.
Some how I got down to 284 to 285 lbs ( have been at this weight 1 to 1 1/2 years)
Most of the time wasn't trying to lose weight, since I have health issues specially with my legs & feet can't walk the way I use to. I'm working on improving my health so I can go back to Traveling and seeing the world.
I'm 6' ft & Ultimate goal weight is around 1800 -

I started there. Initially I had 110 pounds to lose.
SW: 282
CW: 243
GW: TBD, but right now looking at 170.
The BMI charts say I should weigh between 150-165 but I think that's a little small because I have a wide frame. So my initial goal weight is 170 and I'll see how I feel. However, because it's so far away, I'm focusing on 10 pound blocks. Right now I'm working on breaking the 240 mark into the 230's. Once that happens I'll refocus on getting under 230 and so forth. I'm really hoping to break the 200 mark by the end of the year (which should be very doable), but I'm trying not to set my goals too aggressive. We all want it off right now, but I want to make sure I'm successful in making the change to keep it off.
Feel free to add me as a friend. I can use all the motivation I can get. My diary is open but far from perfect. I'm in my 3rd week since restarting and have been walking at least 10k steps 5 days a week and started a dumbbell strength training program 3 days a week. So far it's working well for me.0 -
