I make this all the time, but you can use other beans besides black. It's a really customizable recipe :)

i love beans. i just fry them with vegetables. or throw them in salad. or soup. i find it is such an easy protein source. you can also bake them with some veggies.

    i'm pretty simple.

You can toss those Garbanzos with any seasonings you like and bake them on a cookie sheet. Either until crispy, and put them on a salad, or soft and eat them however.

    For an easy curry soup:

    -one can garbanzo beans
    -one can lite coconut milk
    -one can diced tomatoes
    -raw spinach
    -onion
    -garlic
    -curry powder
    -salt

Sautee the onion and garlic, then add your curry powder, mix well, add all the canned stuff, mix, add as much raw spinach as you like, salt it to taste. Add more curry if you want.

You can also add brown rice to this to make it more of a stew.

You could use any of the other beans in a cold bean salad.
