I don't understand what carb cycling has to do with finding more food variety, but yes, I carb cycle, and my diary is open...but I mostly keep to keto carb levels, so not sure how much my entries will help with that, but feel free to browse around.0

Yea.. I do it.. very loosely. My lower carb days are around 90-100g or so. What are your macros? What kind of foods do you like to eat?0

I'm still trying to figure out the right macro ratio but low carb days I try to stay at around 15% carbs, 35% fat, and 50% protein. I eat just about anything but I'm not a huge fan of fish and I'm tired of eggs0

Maybe the problem is the absurd macro ratio you're aiming for?6

What is your calorie intake? 50% protein could be a bit much depending on what you are working with.
Also, is there any particular reason you have chosen to carb cycle? Adherence? Workout performance? Those are the two main benefits I have found to doing it. If it making things more complicated for you, maybe keeping things basic will be better for you.2 -
i carb cycle (fixed 7 day cycle that doesn't tie into workouts)...my ratios are basically
high carb days - 61% Carb (469g); 19% protein (145g); 20% fat (65g) - total - 3068cal
low carb days - 52% carbs (369g); 20% protein (145g); 28% fat (83g) - total - 2803cal1 -
Holy crap, that's a LOT of protein! General guidelines are approximately 0.8 to 1 gram of protein per pound of goal weight (or lean body mass). Maybe a modification of your macros would serve you better than food ideas.5

You are my kind of “low” carb

Why that peculiar macro split?
What are you hoping to achieve from that macro ratio and carb cycling?
(My version of carb cycling is hitting very high amounts of carbs when I'm cycling - 645g on an exceptional day.)1 -

That much protein is not necessary. You could replace some of it with carbs which would offer you a better variety of foods whether you decide to cycle or not.
I personally don't carb cycle because the kind of exercise I do doesn't need it, but on longer run days I usually eat a larger portion of my exercise calories as carbs.0
