Substitute quorn in any recipe calling for minced meat. Chilli, bolognese sauce, etc. I like pan fried Indonesian tempeh as a protein substitute. The Chinese supermarket has a lot of vegetarian mock meats based on gluten.
Google moujadra, hummus, falafel, sesame noodles, gado gado, Di San Xian for some classic arab and asian vegetarian recipes that don't rely on meat substitutes.1 -
