What are your stats: height , weight , goal weight, activity level?
Where did you get the 1100 cal/day target from, it didn’t come from MFP as the minimum recommended for women is 1200 and that is a NET goal so if you do exercise, you’re meant to log and eat some of those back.10 -
You should be eating 1200 plus exercise calories minimum, if not the goal given to you.4

Such bad advice...17 -
If your trainer is so awesome, why aren't you asking them this question?16

^this. Any trainer who recommends eating under 1200 cals and doesn’t clarify that you definitely need to be eating exercise cals sounds like, well, someone who should stick to training and leave nutrition and dietary advice to others.

You shouldn't trust anyone 100 percent with your health. Not your doctor. Not even yourself. Doctors can be wrong which is why sometimes you need a second opinion. You can be wrong which is why sometimes you need a doctor.
I am kind of biased. I tend to trust heavy people and previously heavy people with diet advice over people who have never had to struggle with weight.

If you eat what you burn it's not over eating. Mfp will give you a calorie goal and you can add exercise calories, and then you will see how much you can eat each day. 1200 is considered to be the lowest calorie goal, unless you happen to be really petite...it won't hurt for short periods, but your body can suffer in the long run.2

Doesn’t sound like such an awesome trainer to me if he’s recommending 1100 calories a day and you have to go and ask a bunch of internet strangers for clarification9

Kinda gone off track my original question. OKAY yep! you all correct re 1100 and yes I know from caring genuine professionals, 1200 is recommended minimum for women. But that amount was hesitantly given to me as I want to achieve a goal in now 6 weeks... doing only for a short period tops. You don't know all conversations I have had with AWESOME Trainers/Nutritionists... 100% trust my 'go to' health team ie personal trainers/nutritionists/doctors/ professional team.... we genuinely care and help do our best in helping others here in NZ. Didn't realise it would be such a biggie asking on here just to see what other mfp members had to share. Please don't judge as it only condemns oneself. PEACE!16 -

Yes, the local gyms here also give anywhere from 1000-1400 calories per day for women depending on size and height for this style of diet. Not everyone is attacking you dear. They are just concerned. Best of luck and stick around.1 -
Dec eat what you burn training..especially as your on 1100...I'm on 1200. I eat what I burn and maybe drink a few in the form of a glass of wine1

All good!.....thank you. Just voicing my stand for my trainers I trust 100%, absolute Awesome at what they do in helping others, genuinely. Opinion of those that don't know me is not my business and never take to heart. I did open it up without realising to down comments re 1100 calories....so fair enough to all comments. Owning it, moving on and staying BLESSED! #knowwhoIam :-)1 -

still not sure why, if they are so amazing, you had to come here to clarify their instructions.
at the end of the day, people on here take the time to respond to posts and show concern when people are under eating because they actually care about helping, and a lot of us have been in similar situations. What you choose to do with that advice is up to you.4 -

So your AWESOME professionals already told you that you're trying to lose weight too fast, you ignored them, and now you're going to ignore everyone here because you don't like what you're being told?
Well, it's your funeral. PEACE, and all that.8 -
Six weeks at 1100 is long enough to see hair loss - unless you are very petite or very obese, I would reconsider the 1100 calories. Although if you eat back your exercise calories it's not as bad. Best of luck to you!4

Why 6 weeks? I mean, you're paying them, they probably won't tell you that what you're doing is incredibly unhealthy because they don't want to lose a customer.
We're not paid to 'help' you. People here are just warning you of the dangers of eating too few calories.3 -
