Right abs working more than the left?

Whenever I do ab exercises such as planks and leg raises, I always feel my right abs doing most of the work.

Does this happen to anyone else? Or am I just seriously messed up? What can I do about this other than stretching my left abs more?

Yes I have had this problem, make sure you arent turning your hips or tilting towards one side while doing the exercises. Also flex your abs and push your core into the floor.

Yes, I think the problem is in my hips being uneven.

My left leg is half an inch shorter than my right, so throughout my entire life, my hips have been misaligned.

I now have orthotics that compensate for the leg length discrepancy, but I think my body is still used to old habits.

Maybe it's time to see a physio who specializes in pelvic stability/realignment.
