I’m Wendell I’m 43 years old . I’ve been married now for almost 20 years to the same woman. LOL. We have 3 kids , a boy 16 years and two girls who we adopted 3 years ago ages 8 and 10. I’m looking to get down to 175 pounds, right now I weigh 233 pounds. Any suggestions or food tips would be great. I have small fiber neuropathy in which I burn all over. My feet and hands are the worst. The Dr said I may have been glucose intolerant for a number of years before I knew it. I also may have got some toxins in my right eye that caused the Neuropathy. Either way I need to lose the weight I have put on since taking Lyrica. Thanks

I would say a low carb diet.1

The very best advice I got when I was first diagnosed was how to plate my meals.

When I included a good source of protein in my breakfast my blood sugars stayed stable all day. It was like a miracle.
When you keep your blood sugars stable you will feel so much better.1 -
The toxins in your right eye are excess sugars that thicken the blood like molasses and scar up the fine blood vessels. My best wishes that your blood sugars stabilize ASAP.1
