Oh I have been drinking a TON of water girl :-) I'm not sure if my body is just more hungry today... and I've waited 20 mins to half an hour after dinner and yet I'm still hungry!0

Try the water for sure, but if you're really super hungry, eat some lean protein(chicken breast, hard boiled egg etc) and just get back on track the next day. Make sure you're eating a good amount of protein and fiber in your diet, going over on either is fine.0

Exercise! LOL... gives you more room to play with. Also, how many cals are you eating per day? If you are at 1200 a day and are consistently hungry, you can up that a little bit so you can eat more but still be losing weight.0

I havent looked at your diary to see what you eat, but I'd say if you're still hungry on a regular basis you should try to eat more protein and fiber through the day. They take longer to digest so you'll feel full longer. but for a quick fix? try a protein bar or a glass of milk- that usually works for me. Good luck!! :-)0

Drink water....sometimes when we think we're hungry our bodies are actually needing water, so I start there and wait a bit..
Get a spoonful of PB....it works wonders in helping curb the appetite
A pkg of Buddig Honey Roast Turkey or Turkey...good protein, low cal
And sometimes I'll just have a serving of Triscuits with a bit of cream cheese...0 -
If it's more an isolated incident you can do one of two things:
1. just eat something not too awful (don't binge) and go over your calories. In the long run it will not matter in the least if you go over now and then. Just don't make a habit of "sneaking in" a snack or saying "I'll do better tomorrow."
2. take an ambien and go to sleep ; ) (nobody yell at me, i'm joking about the ambien)
An important part of creating new sustainable habits is not feeling deprived. If it's happening every day, try to space your meals out, eat differently (take out high cal foods during the day, etc.) and make sure you keep very low calorie snacks on hand. For example I eat broccoli heads out of a bag while I'm working at home (writing). It's something to nosh on that has virtually no calories, plus it fills me up and it's really really healthy. Any veggie will do that (fruit is a little higher in the calorie dept. but still good for you). Air popped popcorn (with no butter or some butter spray) is another low calorie filling snack, though not as low as veggies. Good luck.0 -
You hungry in the tummy, or hungry in your head? (Ok, that sounds idiotic, but I hope it sorta makes sense anyway.)
For me, snacking at night was almost entirely habit -- NOT because I was hungry. Water helps me *really* feel less hungry, but it's discipline the rest of the time. I don't always succeed, but it's getting easier with practice.0
