Ageless medical vs. weightwatchers

So, I have lost 31 lbs doing the ageless medical diet, but I am getting really bored with it and the weight is moving real slow now. I also watch calories and stay less than 1300/day with 30 min or more on a recumbent bike. I usually eat those calories. Has anyone done the new weightwatchers plan and do you lose pretty quickly with that?

It still takes a deficit though.3

You will need to be more specific with weight loss moving slow. All diets work on the same principle so moving from one to another won't help with fat loss. Being bored IS a good reason to move away though. Since all you need is a calorie deficit why not just count calories and be done with name brand diets?6

Or you could enter your stats into MFP, eat what you enjoy, weigh your food, hit your calorie goal and lose weight without losing interest. It's going to be slow, that's how healthy weight loss works, but it will be sustainable.

Just eat healthy and track your calories on MFP. Allow treats in moderation. I follow a general 80/20 rule. 80% healthy and 20% what ever the hell I want to eat.1

Quickly? Are you in a hurry and think that a fad diet will get you there better/faster?
You just need MFP. Calorie Deficit = fat/weight loss.0 -
I went with the ageless plan because I felt like I needed the help and accountability of having to come in once a week and get weighed or measured. It has been the only way I have ever been successful. However, I have always eaten a bit more than they suggest, just kept it low carb, and watch calories, too. Just getting bored and having trouble sticking to it, so I was thinking of other options. My work schedule is a bit erratic and I tend to blow it those days that I am up 24 hours at a time twice a week.0

How quickly you lose will depend on how many calories you eat, regardless of which diet you follow. I've never done either diet (or any diet program) but a lot of posters have come here saying they quit the new WW program because it wasn't working for them, for whatever that's worth.
Maybe you should start to think about how you are going to maintain once you hit your goal weight and come up with a plan that will help you transition? Whatever you decide on, good luck!1 -
Thanks, guys.0
