That’s ok, we all do .. it’s because we are happy and content. If you want to now start to lose the weight then you need to make changes to your diet which you can keep up forever. Make food swaps to replace unhealthy foods you eat regularly. Explain to your bf what you want to achieve and perhaps do it together? Cut back on alcohol and takeaway

The biggest thing I have to constantly remind myself of is that it's okay to not eat the same thing as my hubby. I do my best to modify what I have made for him to make it more me friendly. He is a foot taller than me and works a pretty physically challenging job so he needs more food than I do. So I have started modifying our meals so that I can still feel like I am eating what he is. We had burritos tonight so instead of a tortilla I opted to eat my fillings in a bowl. I replaced the rice with cauliflower rice, kept the meat and black beans just scaled it back, skipped the sour cream but kept the cheese and had tomato and avocado on it then drizzled an avocado salsa Verde for sauce. My dinner was under 400 cal packed with nutrients and I probably saves myself 2 to 3 hundred calories just by a few modifications. Small changes are easiest. I give myself goals. I have to drink at least 16oz of water before I have my morning coffee etc. They are small but I find them to make a big difference. It's hard to start it but it's possible, you reached out for discussion and I would say that's a great first step.
