Hi guys! So my daily calorie intake goal is 1,200 cals a day.. but sometimes I go a littttle under. I try to always meet my goal every day though! For the past 2 days I haven't hit the gym :( But did about 2 hours of walking due to shopping / the mall LOL! Anyway.. my diary is open for everyone to see... please, no mean.. or rude feedback! Lol I know my diary has pretty much the same thing over & over, but I TRY to switch it up! I realized I'm going a bit over my protein & fiber.. is that okay or will affect my weight loss??

And btw guys.. I focus on cardio when I do go to the gym.. I go about 3 x a week and then on Sundays.. only for an hour. I mainly run(jog)/walk on high incline on the treadmill, lift some 5 pound weights for 10 mins.. stretches.. squats.. and elliptical for about 15 mins. Anyone's main source of cardio helped them lose weight? ANY TIPS WOULD BE SO HELPFUL!!!!

It's okay...even GOOD to be over on protein and fiber. They both help make you feel full and fight muscle loss. :) As far as your workout routine, it sounds like your cardio is great, but you need to do some more strength training. I think a lot of women neglect that, but it will help your metabolism and help your body to naturally burn fat better. I recommend reconsidering what you're doing and incorporating MUCH heavier weights/less reps. Your results will be amazing. Good luck! :)

I agree its GREAT to be over on fiber and protein. :)

My big worry is sodium. EEK!! My fat is rarely over carbs I only worry if it was bad carbs like white sugar/floury stuff or sweets/soda.

Fiber is really good to eat in excess. Definitely fills you up.

Quite frankly, the protein "goal" on this website is laughably low...and going over on fiber is great for anyone to do.

The macros won't affect your weight loss unless you have an allergy or sensitivity. It's calories that cause the scale to move.
  • Just a guess if your protein is high you might be consuming too much meat
