Not to be flippant... but I have no idea what it costs.
It's one of those things, if I need it, I need it.
I drive so little (about 2500 - 3000 miles in the past year) that it's a non-issue.8 -

Pretty sure over 40 cents per gallon is taxes.
It's 58 cents/gallon in PA, #1 in the nation.... 3.05 here in Erie, it's been great putting $65 a week in my Tundra.1 -

I'm with you on this. I need to drive and I need gas, so i don't think much about it.2 -
2.59 here. Might be more after tomorrow.1

I got gas in my car today, and I have no idea what it cost. I'd have to agree with the people that never pay it much attention. I have to get it regardless.1

Not exactly. You always have a choice of food (and the cost). Gas is what it is, and costs what it costs.5 -

I paid $0.12 less per litre for gas yesterday, using gas buddy. Yes we need it but we have choices to an extent of how much we want to pay still. Considering I fill up at least twice a week, I care how much I am paying.
Of course we care. I care. But if I'm on empty, I'm filling up, 12 cent difference or no. My point was that theres a big difference in choice between what you pay to eat and the gas that goes in your car. I appreciate frugalness and I'm the same.1 -

They still hiked the Gas Tax tho But yeah, not having to get out of the car in the snow and rain is a bonus.1 -
I have to confess I don't pay much attention to the cost of gas either. I basically go to the same couple gas stations all the time, I could probably search around and save 10 or 15 cents AND it will cause me $48 to fill the tank instead of $50. Big savings...
