Random- exercise entry plus Fitbit?

Hi there!! I’m new and still figuring things out. Do I need t log my exercise if I have my Fitbit linked? Please let me know!!

No. For walking and running, Fitbit will do its job. Anything that isn't step based can either be picked up by HR-based models or logged in Fitbit's app.0

I just use the Fitbit data, I find it gives me more than enough excess calories to eat! Yesterday for example I did about 50 minutes of strength training, which I didn't log as anything and just lived my day as normal otherwise, which gave me about 14,000 steps, which in turn MFP converted in to 688 extra calories for me. I only ate back 1/3 of them, as I usually find the amount it gives me excessive.1

When I use my Runtastic app along with my fit bit (both sync to MFP) the runtastic app total is used instead of the fit bit steps even though I wear the fit bit while running.0
