A mile a day for June

My company is doing a fun challenge and I thought that perhaps others would like to join me to help keep me on track as well.

For everyday in June, you need to walk one mile - it has to be done all at once (you can't break it down into segments throughout the day). You can walk (or run) more than one mile if you want, but the minimum is one mile.

Who's with me?

    This sounds great! I would love to join. I'm not going to lie, my June is already scheduled to be crazy, but I think I could get a mile in at least to walk it if I don't have time for a longer run! I am in!

    Cool! I'm a very slow walker, and I think it took me about 20 minutes to map out my route for the challenge yesterday. I'm figuring that I should be able to carve out 20 minutes *somewhere* each day, so hopefully that will be the case!

    Woot! We're all going to totally rock this - mapped my mile out yesterday so I have a route to walk!

    Hey all how are we doing? I was thinking of logging my miles each week, but this weekend got away from me. So here is the first 10 days:

    June 1 - Honestly, I forgot!
    2 - walked 45 min-just over 2 miles
    3 - walked 45 min
    4 - walked at Knott's Berry Farm all day
    5 - 1.1 mile jog
    6 - 1.24 mile jog
    7 - missed it :(
    8 - 2.03 mile jog
    9 - 50 min of Zumba (over 2k steps)
    10 - 1.02 mile walk

    I'll try to jump on this weekend to log this week. Hope you're all doing well!

    Here is my next week of June:
    June 11 - HIIT workout, no mile
    12 - 1.04 mile walk
    13 - missed it
    14 - missed it
    15 - 1 mile walk
    16 - 1.76 mile walk

    So far this week I've sucked! Sunday I did a ton, will log that next time, but Mon-today have been a bust. This is the last week of school for my kids and I've been super busy, tired, not sleeping, and unmotivated. Anyone have some motivating words for me? Thanks, how is everyone else doing?

    Hey all! Wow, did this month go by fast or what? Here is the rest of my month:
    June 17 - walked 3.17 miles, ran 2.13 miles
    18 - Missed it. This was a busy week! End of school year and two kids promoting from 6th and 8th. :(
    19 - Missed it
    20 - Missed it
    21 - Missed it
    22 - Walked 1 mile
    23 - went to Utah for vacation - mostly driving this day
    24 - 3.92 mile hike
    25 - 3.67 mile hike
    26 - 4 mile hike
    27 - 45 minute walk - not mapped, estimated over 1 mile
    28 - 30 minute walk - not mapped, estimated over 1 mile
    29 - walked 1 mile
    30 - 1 hour Zumba class

    Unfortunately, I missed more days than I expected (10 total), but I think having this challenge on my mind made me more active, so thanks for posting it @minxboo! I hope you all were successful in your mile a day challenge!
