I have some over ripe bananas that need to be used ASAP! Any ideas what to do with them would be appreciated

    I had 3 really ripe bananas, and made this last night. Mixed all of this together, and put it in a baking dish and baked at 350 for 20 minutes. Sliced into 12 bars, turned out great.

    My go tos for overripe bananas are some sort of banana bread (my current fave are apple/banana muffins), a mix in for oatmeal, or ice cream (no cream required).

    Also, note that overripe bananas freeze really well. You won't be able to eat them out of hand, but they work just fine in any recipe that involves mashed up bananas.

    When I have overripe bananas I slice and freeze individually; when I want a sweet treat, I throw the frozen banana slices in the food processor with some peanut butter and almond milk. Delicious milkshake!

    Smoothies or banana bread or muffins. I also make a banana dessert by baking a banana with a sprinkle of cinnamon and add a little whipped cream to it.
