How many calories should I be consuming

Hi all
So I’m 5.4 and I weigh just under 10 stone
I want to lose about a stone of weight but am finding it really hard! I keep losing a pound or two but then putting it back on a week later.
How many calories should I be consuming a day? Currently consuming 1400 with it without exercise

    1600 for 0.5 per week and 1200 for 2 pound. However I can’t stick to 1200 as I like my food, so I have changed it to 1400 but stayed the same weight give or take a pound for about 2 months. The first week I stuck to the 1400 I lost 7 pounds, since then I’ve stayed the same no matter how much I exercise

    Eat 1600, weigh and measure everything accurately and consistently. come back in 6 weeks if the scales don't move.

    Just wanted to add, double check that the database entries you are using are accurate, and start using a food scale if you haven't been. With so little to lose, if you're logging isn't accurate that might be what's causing the problem.

    I have found some database entries to be wildy and stupidly wrong! Don’t go by the database unless you cross reference it to a reliable source.
