Inches are different across the body

I'm losing inches around my thighs and chest faster than I am aroung my gut and hips. Why is this? Is this normal? Will my waist eventually catch up when my chest and thighs stop losing?

you always tend to lose everywhere apart from where you desperately want it to go!!
My body hates me - my legs and chest are starting to look acceptable but belly and bum stubbornly refusing to budge!0 -
I'm the total opposite...my waist is shrinking, but my hips and thighs won't budge!0

i am one of the very few lucky ones who gains and loses proportionately everywhere at the same time. most, however aren't that blessed. stay persistent, because eventually it WILL come off your stomach and hips, too )0
