Someone doesn't want me to exercise today...

Well, I was feeling lazy this morning about packing up my 8 month old son and heading to the gym so I reached out for help and my friends on MFP gave me the push i needed to get off the couch and go!! So I get to the gym and I am feeling SOOOO good about myself and proud that i made it there. Well the gym daycare has a policy that if your kid cries and they can't settle them down than they come and get you. So i'm on the elliptical 10 min and I get a tap on the shoulder (which i'm surprised because my son is never the one crying), so I go and play for a few minutes and manage to sneak out the door. Now i get back on the elliptical and crank it to the highest resistance I can stand just in case I get another tap on the shoulder...which I did 15 min later! So then I decide that this isn't working today...lol ...so we go home and I decide i am going to put him in the stroller and go for a walk, just as a big thunder cloud rolls in!!! so now I am going to do some exercise videos on demand when I can get my little one down for his nap. lol Hey at least I'm not giving up right!!! haha! Sometimes babies just need their mommies! (not to mention he's teething so he likes to cuddle with me when he doesn't feel good) Love my boy!

Good for you! Your persistence will off! I was just sitting here feeling lazy. You post has motivated me to get out and run today in spite of my laziness and sore legs (they are mostly an excuse...lol) Thank you for your post.
