Frequency of weighing?

My plan is to weigh in monthly and once only, first thing in the morning. I’ve found in the past that weekly weighing invariably turns into daily weighing, which led to usual fluctuations derailing progress and motivation. I will also be measuring progress by tape measurements and pictures, in recognition of the fact the scale doesn’t tell the full story.
How often do others weigh themselves?

Weekly weighing works for me, but you need to do what works for you.4

2-3 times a week for me1

I weigh myself pretty much every day but the fluctuations don't bother me. I use a weight trending app and look at the trend rather than the fluctuations.4

I have the opposite opinion from most people in that I find more frequent weighing PREVENTS me from flipping out about fluctuations, because I can make the connection between my weight and whatever is causing it to fluctuate. I'm also a diabetic, so I just step on the scale whenever I happen to be naked at the same time I need to test my blood glucose, and it's not any extra trouble. However, since I hit maintenance I only log my weight once a month.
Frequent weighing has taught me that my weight fluctuates by several pounds per day depending on what I eat and drink, how much sleep I've gotten, and how often I use the bathroom. Interestingly enough the most consistent reading from day to day is the one I take after waking, taking my thyroid meds with a full glass of water, then waiting an hour before I'm supposed to eat.11 -
I weight daily. Each weight is just a data point toward seeing what my weight does over the long term. I basically treat weight management like a science project. More data gives a more complete picture. I weigh with as few variables as possible: in the morning, after the toilet, before I get dressed.
I don't set my goals based upon the scale so what the scale says doesn't derail or demotivate me but reinforce that my calorie intake is still where I want it to be or tell me that I need to make small changes. If my long term weight trend (over months) isn't doing what I want, I adjust my calories in and/or calories out.
I set goals based upon things I can control, such as walking 11,000 steps today or consuming no more than 1700 calories today. I can't control what the scale says today. As long as I do what I need to do, the scale will eventually show my progress.9 -
Daily. I know fluctuations happen, so it’s important to look past them and view the overall trend.4

Weekly first thing before eating

I'm with @BattyKnitter and @rheddmobile in that I've been far more successful weighing daily and using a trend app (I use Happy Scale, Libra is another oft-used app). Daily weighing has become part of my daily routine, which mitigates any event-type association with it; it's data collection, nothing more.4

Daily, so I have enough data points to have a reliable trend.5

I weigh daily3

I weigh weekly on Fridays2

I weigh every Monday. Weighing daily works for some, but I find that the fluctuations frustrate me. Weighing more than once a day seems pointless because of the same reason. Once per week, once every other week or once per month are what I would recommend.
Regardless, don't get discouraged if it doesn't go down! Linear weight loss doesn't happen, it is a roller coaster.1 -
I weigh daily now but in the past I weighed weekly. I find as I've gotten more objective the day to day fluctuations don't unsettle me. I look at the overall direction.1

I weigh weekly, any day around the weekend (Fri-Mon). Fluctuation is due to the fact that sometimes I forget to weight before I eat, so I have to wait for the next day so conditions are the same.
Still early days, if I find fluctuations are throwing me I will likely up it to daily0 -
I weigh myself daily and I've noticed a lot of fluctuations, but there's an overall downward trend. In previous weight loss efforts I've allowed fluctuations upwards to get me down and sometimes they've led to me ditching the diet, but I'm not letting it happen this time.
In the past, if I don't weigh myself daily I will go into denial and eat too much.4 -
I weigh daily.0

Same time daily before eating or drinking anything.1

I used to only weigh a couple times a month, now it’s every morning.0

I weigh daily, twice a day. But that really helps me with certain data points that I’m looking for. I think that daily once a day would be a good way for most people to get good weight trend data.0

Once a week, same day & time, after going to toilet when u wake up1

Another daily weigher here. Every morning, same time, same conditions, and using a trending app to track the overall trend. I take measurements (tape and skinfold calipers) and progress pics monthly.1

After weighing myself daily for a very long time, I realized that I was just needlessly freaking myself out over natural fluctuations in my weight. And now I'm like you, weighing monthly. It keeps me sane.1

Daily - to me it's data and normal fluctuations don't concern me in the slightest.
I'm aware of trends but don't feel the need to plot them.
My happiness isn't so fragile that the number on a simple measuring device can upset me.0 -
daily absolutely. i feel like a junkie going through withdrawal when i go on holidays and there's no scale!1

I’m a scale addict. I weigh myself daily.1

Every morning. Fluctuations don't bother me, and if I put weight on I just get more determined.2

I am pretty overweight and find I expect to lose more or as fast I think I should sometimes. So I find I can't weigh more than once a week or I find myself getting very discouraged. I think it helps me keep on my plan telling myself, "Just Do The Next Right Thing" and stay on your plan and it will be com off. I think weighing daily when I get closer to my goal makes sense, but until then I've got to do what works for me. We are all different and have to do works for ourselves. One day at a time. Good luck everyone.1

Daily so I have more trend data (although I don't pay much attention to the number, I only look at the overall trend in trendweight.1
-
Daily out of habit. It gets me to log into MFP and helps keep me mindful of my calories for the day. Not that I'd go on a crazy binge if I didn't step on the scale, it's just part of my routine now like walking the dog, going to the gym or weighing my food.1

This! Well, only daily!
But, everyone is different. Everyone has a different relationship with food and with the scale. Do what works for you.
I look at one week as my time line. I look at total caloric intake in terms of one week (so, as an example, 14,000 calories....not 2,000 calories every day). I look at the 'data points' on the graph and look at the trend (as others have used that word....trend is a very good thing). It can be challenging to get your mindset to that (a weekly thing...) and to looking at the trend.1
