There's been rumors that Nokia wanted to exit the fitness scale business so I know a lot of owners of these scales (body, body+, etc) were nervous about their future. It looks like the co-founder of withings bought the business, and they will once again be sold under that brand, which I think is a great outcome.

    That’s good news (I hope), thanks for sharing. I bought the Body scale a couple months ago and then heard all the rumors about Nokia axing the integrated health arm. I want my product to continue to work.

    Yeah, same here, i'm a big fan of the body/body+ scales, and was afraid of them just shutting the servers down if they didn't find a buyer.
