Well it's day three on the low protein diet and about 10 grams over. I'm really not for sure how to do this but I''m trying.

Are you under doctor's orders to go low protein?3

Why would you consider a low protein diet?4

Don’t get discouraged! Take a one day at a time. If you were a big protein eater before this diet shift, maybe set small daily goals to lower the intake. Maybe down 2-4g a day? That might make the diet change less intense and more manageable ❤️ best of luck! I’m rooting for you!

First you have to make sure you have to do it. Doctor's orders? Why? And how low is low? Then figure out what you're eating that has a lot of protein and what you eat that has little protein. Your food diary is a great tool. Eat more of the things that are low in protein and less of the things that are high in protein. Look around and see if there are other low protein foods you could be interested in trying. You will be less frustrated if you have at least a basic understanding of why it is important, and make it into a challenge, a game, call it whatever you like, but something fun and positive and rewarding.0

why are you doing this and how many grams of protein is your target?1

A low protein diet can lead to anemia, by causing your number of red blood cell to decrease in number. This decrease causes a multitude of issues in the body.
For example, the red blood cells carry the oxygen to the cells that need oxygen, so a low protein diet csn cause severe fatigue.
Low protein diets can cause hair loss, muscles to breakdown/and be cannibalized by the body.
Also low protein diets cause decreased healing/recovery time.
Some drs do prescribe a low protein diet for issues like severe kidney disease.
But for a healthy person. Low protein diets are likely to adversely affect them.
