Does anyone here have advice for some supplements for a nice lady in her 40's who is uber over weight and is dieting? Maybe there is a good multi out there you guys like? Or does someone have a favorite brand?
Also, do you guys notice a change for the better when you take vitamins?

If you go get a physical and have then do blood work on you, they should be able to see if anything is lacking. It's pretty easy to get all the vitamins you need from food. With the possible exception of Vitamin D. Well at least here in Seattle-land, most of us are low in D.

I use Juice Plus, its not sold in stores, you have to find somebody who sells it(you can find them online), but its not really a multi-vitamin it's more so a vitamin that encourages you to eat more fruits and veggies, but also supplements some of your vitamins and minerals from fruits and veggies.

Calcium is REALLY important and I like the viactiv chews (they remind me of chocolate). I also take 2 DHA/EPA supplements (fish oil pills). I do notice a difference in my ability to concentrate when I don't take my DHA and it also helps ward off constipation. I have a strong family histrory of heart dz so the DHA is important and it is "brain food." I also take a B complex to ward off the blues. It works for me.

I use GBG 10-in-One Vitamin & mineral super formula; they are only available online. I love them!! I will send you a PM to the link where I get them. Don't want to step on any toes by posting the link publicly.
