How to burn extra calories without doing extra exercise

So what's the secret? Believe it or not it's just something you can do everyday and you don't even have to meditate, sweat, think, or cut anything out. Ready for it?
COLD SHOWER. As cold as you can stand. After showering and cleaning yourself off, slowly reduce the hot water and get the water as cold as you can. Try to stay in about 2-5 minutes. Dropping your skin's temperature forces your body to create more heat to raise that skin temperature back to normal. It comes from the muscles shivering. For some it can feel refreshing.

Better version of that:
Go out running with no form of protection from the sun. Then let yourself bake by laying in the grass directly under the sun for 15 minutes. THEN take a cold shower so it can be semi-bearable. xD0 -
Haha, it's been so hot this summer, my "cold" water is more like lukewarm! So sad, because when it's hot I especially love a refreshing blast of ice cold shower.

I don't think this actually burns your exercise calories (or close enough to them). There is a method for using cold water therapy to make your body burn more efficient, though.0

I'm with you...cold water is a relative term in Arizona in the summer. In fact, most of us crave the AZ cold water during the summer...the colder we can possibly get it, the better. Always good when the water is below 100 degrees. LOL0 -
In the winter, you can just leave your thermostat a few degrees lower and you will need more calories to keep warm. I like it colder anyway so pretty much anything over 60F indoors is fine with me.0
