I made this for dinner today, kind of on a whim, but it was sooo yummy!
What you'll need:
1 chicken breast (about 4 or 5 ounces)
1 Tbsp. sesame oil
1 1/2 Tbsp. reduced sodium soy sauce
1/2 Tbsp. garlic
1 tsp. sesame seeds
1/2 cup to 1 cup of frozen or fresh peas (I used frozen)
Put the sesame oil in the pan, and let it heat up. Put the chicken and the soy sauce in.
Once the sauce starts to reduce, add a little water to thin it up. You may have to do this a few times throughout the cooking.
Flip the chicken over and let it cook on the other side. Add water as needed.
Add the garlic about half way through the cooking.
Add the peas to your water and let them cook until they're floating (if using fresh peas, wait until the last step to add.)
Take the chicken out of pan, but do not turn off the heat. Cut the chicken into slices.
Place slices back in pan until finished cooking.
Once finished, let the sauce reduce down a little, then add the peas and the sesame seeds. Once the peas have heated and been coated with the sauce, serve and enjoy!
