Hello all,

I am doing strict Keto and tracking my food and macros using this app. I notice in my nutrition breakdown it suggests I have 45g sugar. I am confused as I thought on strict keto you should stay away from sugar? Any thoughts/advice is appreciated.

    The tracker is not designed specifically for Keto. You can certainly use it to track such things but other people with different goals use it to track.

    There is a app CarbManager with a free version, actually works out net and total carbs, stuff like that. Personally I use MFP, I just don't eat simple carbs (sugar, cookies) and keep complex carbs (green veggies, berries) to 60g or so. I also only test with those strips and ketones show up.

    Are you eating fruit? Fruit has a lot of natural sugars, so could be something like that. I'm not familiar with the ins and outs of keto, but isn't it added sugars that are supposed to be avoided, not natural sugars.

    It would be helpful to open up your food diary so that we can see what you've been eating.
