    Welcome to MFP! I have changed a lot after I found this place. One of the things I have learnt, is that enjoying good food is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle.

    You can have things like cake that are at LEAST not bad for you :)

    Keto cake is a fav, I always have almond flour, erythritol, real butter and cocoa in the house when I need to abide the sweetness. I do not have Xylitol around personally, as that can be deadly to pets, above is much lower in cals and zero GI.

    As humans we love food. If we didn't we would die>>>lol

    The best thing I ever did was to eliminate simple carbs. I still have complex carbs though... :)
    Now that simple carbs don't go in my body I can eat good nutrient rich foods with no hunger pains & no more Gluten spikes to drag me down. Happy-Happy!!

    I'm in maintenance & loving the weight I am at... :)
