2 stone 4lbs lost so far. Another 1 and a half to go. Have hit a bit of a plateau so need to up my game.
Noticed a bit of flabby skin on my upper thigh and bingo wings so wondering if I should be focusing my exercise more on weights or cardio?

^ what she said.
Fat looks better when you have muscle definition to keep it in shape, so weight/resistance training is good for that. Cardio is also good, but more for health purposes (cardiovascular) as opposed to muscle tone. Both burn calories so as long as you eat less than your total burn, you will lose fat.
Too great a deficit will burn too much muscle, so don't eat to little.
Whatever your choice of exercise, make sure you enjoy it!
Well done on your progress so far! You haven't got much further to go, so a plateau is quite normal. Sometimes giving in to a plateau for a bit and eating at maintenance until you are ready to cut again isn't a bad thing.1 -
Your right, I think I am too hard on myself sometimes and forget how far I’ve come already.
I will get there. Hoping to lose another stone by the end of September1 -

^^^^^ This!!!
Added benefit from doing both:
Cardio benefits endurance: which is very good for strength training (not getting exhausted early)
Strength training builds strength: cardio, especially running requires leg strength, you'll have less soreness in your legs, resulting in better cardio.

Strength training. I'm only running lately because I have an obstacle course coming up that I do with friends for fun and I don't want to be the anchor. If it were up to me I'd simply rest less between sets of lifting to get my cardio in.0
