    One Week Duration to June 18

    I have allowed myself a 200 calorie evening snack. Something healthy would be nice, but at least in moderation. Portion control is everything! No excessive Junk Food!

    I'm going to start as of yesterday - because I realized that I was starting to snack too much after dinner - unplanned snacking that is. But, last night, I was able to ignore that voice that says "You're failing at losing weight, so go ahead, have a yummy snack - after all - what's the difference? You're not losing anyway - bwuahahaha" I hate that voice - it lies ! I am successful at losing weight OVERALL.

    Tonight will be the real challenge, because there will be ice cream in the refrigerator as kind of a test run to see if I can be calorie controlled with it and just have the ONE serving that I've planned. But if I succeed, I'll get to a 7 day streak so I'm hoping that will keep me on course.

    Two week streak! I thought for sure that I would be stress eating every night with the new job situation... turns out my new routine has me coming home so late that I don’t really have much time/appetite to LNS because dinner is now at 8pm or so...

    Well, it wasn't the ice cream that got me, but I caved and drank a cup of orange juice last night after dinner. Fortunately that didn't set off a complete snack attack (like it easily could have) but still, needed to reach for an apple or some cherries, not the juice.

    It's a challenge every single night. LSN won out when I was out of town and there was another night earlier in June that gobsmacked me. I will beat this addiction, and I do consider it an addiction for me.
