Hey everyone. Trying to find some new and interesting recipes as I keep going back to the same old things. I’d like to see what everyone’s favorite healthy recipes are. I’ll start things off with one of mine. Let’s here yours.

    What do you mean by healthy?
    Under a certain number of calories, containing lots of vegetables, certain amount of protein?

    I collect a lot of recipes.
    I find food ideas on Pinterest a lot.

    Thanks. Been on some of those bit a couple are new. And I meant healthy as in healthy by each persons definition. I can sort what works for me and what doesn’t might work for someone else.

    My favourite recipes for getting a ton of raw veg, and where I skip the carbs are Nam Prik Ong from Northern Thailand and Beef Lok Lak from Cambodia. Google both dishes for other recipes and more pictures for presentation but these are two particularly simple versions to execute.

    Nam Prik Ong
    is a spicy warn sloppy Joe sauce used for dipping raw veg into. This recipe is particularly easy because it uses a commercial Thai red curry paste instead of pounding lemon grass, chilllies and spices yourself. Can also be done with ground chicken, turkey or beef.

    Beef Lok Lak
    is stir fried beef served on a bed of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion dressed served with a sauce of lime juice and copious amounts of ground pepper (no added oil). Sometimes served with a fried egg. Can also been done with thinly sliced chicken breasts or halved prawns.
