Are there any girls out there with PCOS or similar problems? I started my journey about 8 months ago and i'm not seeing great results, I am currently on maintenance cals as I had been on a restricted diet for such a long time, which was suggested to repair my metabolism. I will be dropping down over the next few weeks and wondered if anyone had any advice for me? Thanks in advance! :D

I have PCOS and calorie counting does work for me. I find my weight loss isn't very linear, even when I am 100% doing everything right...but it does move in the right direction. For whatever reason, I tend to lose very little (under one pound) or maintain for several weeks in a row, and then every 3rd or 4th week I'll suddenly lose 3-3.5 pounds at once, even though my diet hasn't changed. IDK if it's related to the PCOS or not.

My mom also has PCOS and went from a 3x to size 4 (and has maintained for almost 10 years) with calorie counting.

I'm sure you will see results once you drop your calories to a "losing" level. If you're eating maintenance right now, of course it makes sense that you haven't lost anything yet.
