ANYONE ELSE??
So I’ve always been chunky, when I got pregnant at 16 I weighed 170. I had never been embarrassed where I’m from being “thick” is a good thing so it never bothered me but after I had my son I weighed 210 now I’m 20 and weigh 219.4... I’m not ashamed I’m evenly portioned but I would like to be healthier, I’m not the type of person to go on a strict diet but I’d like to make better choices and work out. Is there anyone out there going through the same or similar?? Reach out!

I went through similar in the past. At 32 after I'd had my three kids I decided it was time to lose the weight. I did it slowly over time making one small change each month.
The first month I gave up juice and soda, exchanged it for water and made sure that I got out and exercised 3x per week, mostly walking. The next month I switched the exercise to jogging for 30 seconds and then walking for 5 minutes during exercise and cut out my high calorie snacks. I gradually built up my exercise over the months to more and more jogging, and cycling. I gradually added healthier cooking to my diet. I lost 50 lbs the first year and the last 10 lbs. over another 6 months. I went from 180-185 down to 130.2 -

The only troubles I had was making sure I did what I said I was going to do. Making sure that I exercised three times a week because that was my goal. When it took 6 months to lose the last 10 lbs. that was a bit difficult, but I knew I'd get there eventually and just kept going.
I think in the end it was my attitude that I was making lifestyle changes, not just losing weight. My original goal was to just lose 25 lbs. I lost 25 lbs. in the first 9 months and then decided that I wanted to keep going. Sticking with my plans long term and deciding that this wasn't a short term thing was what helped me to reach my goals.0 -

No for a couple of reasons:
1. I am a male so I can't get pregnant
2. I didn't have sex until I was 31
But I wish you well in your journey!!
Yep. Totally understand
