Good for you! Just make sure you still get your fibrous carbs (not grains). I have a friend that turned it into the Atkins diet but still calls it the Paleo diet. not the same thing!

    Paleo/Primal Blueprint diet.

It's basically the idea of staying away from grains and processed foods. Higher fat percentage in the diet and low carbs. I tried it for two months and I hated it. For some however, it works great I suppose.

Look into Paleo/Primal Blueprint (they are both caveman diet).
I'm a Primal Blueprinter and really enjoy the lifestyle. Lost 4 lbs last week!

Check my signature for a link to why I eat paleo ... sometimes referred to as caveman, hunter gatherer, evolutionary, et al. There are different iterations of what this means in food choices. Basically the objective is to emulate the food groups available to the " caveman" before the introduction of Neolithic or modern food inventions .. such as no grains (including rice, corn, pseudo grains like quinoa and buckwheat), dairy, soy, beans, sugar, processed foods et al. Again, there are differing takes on what is acceptable. There's lots of reading you can do, both in academic pubs and popular books, which I'd recommend you do. Everyone is different and will realize different results.
