Down 13lbs in past 1.5 months. Looking for friends with open diary settings!

New daddy here. I gained 30lbs over the past 2 years - 15lbs for each one of my two amazing new boys at home. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦β€πŸ‘¦

I guess they call that sympathy weight for my wife! πŸ€”

About a month and a half ago I was pushing 200lbs body weight with body fat percentage in the upper 20s I'm sure. I hated what I saw in the mirror and how uncomfortable I was in my skin. 🀒

Time for change I thought. πŸ€”

Now, like many of you, finding the time to exercise is/was a huge issue. I own a weight set at home and have been waking up at 3:30 AM to workout. πŸ˜–πŸ˜ŒπŸ˜•

No cardio whatsoever.

In addition I've been using MFP to put myself in a 500-700 calorie deficit while keeping a high protein intake - 0.8 to 1 gram per lb of body weight.

And guess what!?

It's been working! πŸ™Œ

Anyway, I'm looking for friends so we can help keep each other motivated.

I'm here for you MFP peeps! Let's do this!

    Congrats fellow daddy. And good job on your progress. I added you. My diary is open to friends. I follow LCHF though. Enjoy that precious time with our kids everyone reading this. We don't get it back, cherish every moment!
